My Journey in Space

Raju received the colgate Paste from his Aunt and Immediately he opened it and cut all the space characters and started arranging it with his sister neha. He asked her sister to be an alien who comes in a UFO (unidentified Flying object)  and  lands in a open field where he is playing near  the Mango orchard with his school buddies. When they notice the flying object flying above their head very close they scared that some ghosts are about to land in the fields and left for their respective homes. But Raju the bold and playful boy stood there admiring the gigantic UFO and its different shape.

All of a sudden it landed in the field with a great thunderlike noise which shocked Raju. It was so gigantic and  out of his imagination, totally different creature came out of the big flying object which he had never seen in his lifetime. He was scared for a moment and somehow regained himself and was ready to throw away the raw mangoes on the creature if it tries to hurt him. He touched his trouser pockets to confirm the mangoes that he plucked with his buddies in the orchard. He creature moved towards him which made raju so scared. As he planned he thrown the mangoes on the alien, which was caught by the alien. The Alien tasted it and moved forward towards him biting the raw mangoes which is partly ripe. Now seeing the expression of the Alien, Raju felt relaxed and it offered him his hand. He just held his hand and it took him inside the UFO. Raju was so excited that he had never seen such a thing. It gave the costume of astronaut to Raju and helped him to wear it. Raju enthusiastically wore it happily and jumped around in the UFO and it closed the door and started its journey in the sky.
He was so surprised to see the Mango orchard and fields turning very tiny when the UFO floats high into the sky.
Raju was o thrilled floating through the stars and flying above the cotton clouds. AFter travelling for a while the UFO landed on the Space with a thud. He jumped out of it with joy. He was overjoyed to walk in space. It was like a dream for him. Then it took him to the Rover. They climbed in to the Rover and Visited each planet and Raju was so happy about the journey in space and at the end it dropped him back into his field early in the morning.

Kaaval Deivam Part - II

Hi & Hello to Everyone....

Here is the most awaited post of Kaaval Deivam part II, in my earlier post i have posted about Kaaval Deivam, the guardian spirits of every city. I am sure that in every village there is a Kaaval Dievam in different forms.

In my Earlier post i have posted the pictures of the deities in blind folded. Now after the the festival has started and so the eyes are opened.

How to handle life

Another nice one about how to handle life...bit old still impressive

I asked God
"how to handle life"?
God Replied " Check Your Room"
My room gave me all the answers:
Roof said: Aim high.
Fan said: Be cool.
Clock said: Value time.
Calendar said: Be up to date.
Wallet said: Save now for the future.
Mirror said: Always observe yourself.
Lamps said: Light up other's life.
Wall said: Share others' load.
Window said: Expand the vision.
Floor said: Always be down to earth.
Stairs said: Watch each step you take.
And  I Said
Thank You God!

Triple filter

A Beautiful story that Every one must read and follow if possible in every day life. I read this story and like to share this with all of you....

One day a person met the great *Chanakya*,and said, "Do you know what I just heard about your friend?"
"*Hold on a minute*," Chanakya replied.
"Before telling me anything I'd like you to pass a little test.
It's called the ,*Triple Filter Test*.'
"Triple filter?"
"That's right," Chanakya continued.
"Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you're going to say. That's why I call it the *triple filter test*.
The first filter is *Truth*.
Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"
"No," the man said, "actually I just heard about it and..."
"All right," said Chanakya. "So you don't know if it's true or not.
Now let's try the second filter, the filter of *Goodness*.
Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something *good*?
"No, on the contrary..."
"So," Chankaya continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him, but you're not certain it's true.
You may still pass the test though, because there's one filter left, the *filter of Usefulness*.
Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be *useful* to me?"
"No, not really."
"Well," concluded chankaya, "if what you want to tell me is *neither true nor good nor even useful*,why tell it to me at all?"

Krishna Pushkaralu 2016

we planned to go on the second day of pushkaralu since the first day falls on friday which is celebrated as varalakshmi vratham. after performing pooja at home on friday. we started from Chennai central railway station on saturday morning by Lucknow express and reached the Vijayawada station by late noon. my uncle and niece were waiting for us in station. when  we got down in the railway station two young (girls) volunteers came to help us. they escorted us till we got an auto to the bathing ghats. we thanked the lovely girls and left for the river Krishnaveni.

Exit from the Railway station in Vijayawada

Pushkaram is festival of river that occurs once in 12 years and celebrated for 12 days and is celebrated with much glory.  Like we celebrated Godavari pushkaralu last year at Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, this year Krishna Pushkaralu welcomes us to vijayawada district the hub of Krishna pushkaralu in the state of  Andhra pradesh. we reserved the tickets for my family for the pushkaralu luckily i have holidays since it falls on weekend and independence day follows the weekend. so we felt it is the best time for the holy trip.

Pushkaralu is a festival of River Krishna which normally occurs once in every 12 years The Pushkaram is observed for a period of 12 days from the time of entry of Jupiter into Virgo (Kanya rasi). The festival is "theoretically" observed throughout the twelve months that the planet remains in that sign, but the first 12 days are considered most sacred as pushkarudu takes holy dip in the river in those days. this year (2016), the celebration of pushkaralu starts on 12 August and lasts upto 23 August 2016.

after the holy bath in the river, we left the luggages with dad and uncle and went to take the blessings of the holy maa kanaga durga. The Goddess (Maa) is beautifully decorated with glittering ornaments and looks so gracefully holding the trident in the standing posture opposite to the durga ghat. After the having darshan we are thinking how to climb the hill for the darshan of Kanaka Durga Maathaji. The river and surroundings of all the ghats and temple are  neatly maintained.Arrangements are neatly maintained by Andhra Government. Security arrangements are well planned and  executed.

Balloonwala stood on the road to sell in big and colourful fancy balloons and dresswala stood next to him.

The drummer is waiting to sell his wares by playing the drums whenever children cross that way.

the city of Vijayawada is fully decorated with colourful lights which made the city to glitter the whole 12 days and its a feast for eyes.

All in all, it was a memorable trip, which will forever be framed in our hearts for a long time. My first trip to vijayawada was wonderful and i will cherish every moment of it because of the lovely volunteers. Thank you made my trip the most cherishable one.
